The Task

In a competitive industry, Zealand Pharma recognised the need to revitalise its employer brand to attract and retain top talent. Following a change in strategy, Zealand aimed to highlight its identity as a dedicated research and development company.

Partnering with Zealand Pharma, we crafted a comprehensive employer branding strategy and updated their Employer Value Proposition (EVP).

 

The Approach

We began by integrating Zealand's core values, mission, and ambition into a cohesive narrative, ensuring consistency across all communication channels. This narrative came to life through engaging content, including employee stories, photo shoots, and videos, displaying Zealand's vibrant culture and positioning it as an employer of choice. 

We developed the "Meet the Zealanders" series to create a bank of employee stories for both internal and external use, optimising content for Zealand's new website, social media and intranet.

 

The Result

Zealand Pharma’s employer branding transformation highlights the impact it can have on a company's image and appeal.

The project demonstrates how strategic employer branding can significantly impact a company's ability to attract and retain top talent in the industry.

Zealand Pharma was recently awarded with the spot as 2nd best image among 37 large Life Science companies in Denmark, according to a MedWatch survey of nearly 4,000 people. Additionally, Zealand Pharma had the greatest overall improvement and ranked #1 for involving employees in important decisions.
